Description
Ghotab or Qottab is one of the most famous traditional Iranian sweets and also one of the most popular sweets for Nowruz (Iranian New Year), which is prepared in different cities, including Qazvin. This sweet consists of two layers (outer layer and inner layer or brain). The outer layer is a dough of wheat flour that is fried in oil or prepared in the oven. The inner layer also contains the kernel, which is usually stuffed with walnuts or almonds, along with cardamom, cinnamon.
